Course

The St James FD 5 mile course is a tough one, the first 3 miles are rolling hills that will challenge you. But the key is to save some energy for the 4th mile which includes the infamous Cordwood Path which is 1/2 mile incline that would be classified as steep. Don't attack till right at the beginning, you'll be in trouble by the middle. Be patient and wait till you've made it half way up the hill before you start using your energy. When you crest the top of the hill the good news its 95% downhill to the finish! Start pushing your legs will start recovering as you head to the finish.
